CLE Scholarship

WACDL makes scholarships available for all of our CLE programs.  Scholarships are normally be awarded for one-half of the seminar fee.  Applications for scholarships must be submitted to WACDL three weeks before the program you wish to attend (six weeks for the annual conference).  See the information below about scholarship guidelines, the application process, and making a donation to the scholarship fund.

WACDL Scholarship Guidelines

  • Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need.  (Applicants must attest that they are financially unable to pay the program fee; further documentation is not required.)

  • Each applicant may only receive one CLE Scholarship per year.

  • Each scholarship is normally for 50% of the CLE registration fee for the specified program.  Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own transportation, food, and lodging expenses.  If the applicant's employer will contribute a portion of the CLE registration fee, the applicant is still eligible to receive a scholarship.  The normal amount of the scholarship awarded to such an applicant, however, will be limited to ½ the amount of the applicant's share of the fee.

  • WACDL will normally award one scholarship for every 30 paid registrants.

  • Names of scholarship applicants are kept confidential; only WACDL staff know the names of those who apply for and are awarded scholarships.
