While much remains up in the air for this year’s annual conference (understatement!), we are confident that Campbell’s Resort is working hard to keep guests safe. In-person portions of the conference are still being planned, but due to the fluctuating nature of the pandemic, we hope to host socially-distanced in-person activities and a mixed in-person/online CLE.
Our featured speaker this year will be Frank Rosenblatt.
Based in Jackson, Mississippi, Frank is a member of Butler Snow’s litigation department and practices within the Commercial Litigation group. A skilled litigator, Frank has tried dozens of cases to verdict, including a successful outcome in America’s most publicized trial of 2017. Frank has won national recognition for his legal writing, authored book chapters and co-authored two books, and been invited to speak about litigation and internal investigations to several of the world’s flagship institutions, including Yale Law School, The Hoover Institution, The Pentagon, and The Peace Palace in The Hague. Frank is the team leader of the Firm’s Military and National Security Law practice area.
Regardless of the tentative programming, if you are planning a trip to Chelan, you should make reservations ASAP. We will need to release unbooked rooms in the coming weeks. In order to book with our discount, you must call 800-553-8225 or 509-682-2561 and tell them you are with the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Group Block Number 514779). The room block and discount are not available with online booking.
A note about conference fees:
We understand that it's been a tough year economically for a lot of our members, and we've made every effort to limit the increase in registration fees. This year, however, out of an abundance of caution, we are serving a plated dinner at our outdoor awards banquet rather than having our typical bufffet. Plated dinners are substantially more expensive than buffets. As such, we had to raise the price of dinner tickets for guests to $75. Please be aware that we are selling these tickets at cost.
