Position Information

We have decided to make some changes to adjust to the changing needs and work models post-pandemic.  We have two or three office spaces available in an early 20th century Victorian, almost exactly one mile from the courthouse in uptown Vancouver, Washington.  Possibly two upstairs offices and one main floor office with a separate entrance.  Upstairs offices were bedrooms and have locking doors and closet space. The building is lovely with lots of woodwork, three main floor entrances, break room, conference room and waiting room areas, in addition to the available offices.  

We are also open to having more lawyers join us in a progressive format firm, with an expense and profit sharing model.  We have a usually very strong advertising campaign that is sometimes complicated by Google's changing format and requirements.  We have a fifteen year presence in Southwest Washington area, and currently have two attorneys on site, and a part-time attorney offsite.  Our principal attorney has focused for many years on criminal defense and some personal injury, but is moving toward doing more family law.  Lots of mentoring opportunities for criminal defense and some family law would be available.  We have a recently re-wired, super fast network, and amenities like copy machine, fax, and a large conference room TV with computer, microphone and camera for depositions, or client conferences.

We focus on helping people in the Southwest Washington area with their legal issues and problems. Our female lead firm strives to maintain a welcoming, non-discriminatory and non-judgmental environment. Our lawyers are zealous and compassionate, and we also put our families first. We support and promote work/life balance and we have dedicated ourselves to building a successful firm that values our team members as real people with lives outside their billable hours. Nonetheless, we are dedicated to facilitating the material success of our lawyers.

We have a small kitchen area, with toaster oven and microwave and refrigerator, and free, off-street parking.  We are walking distance to lots of restaurants, Safeway and a New Seasons grocery store.

We are open to different modalities of office sharing/firm sharing and welcome your ideas.  We have found that we need to adopt a more nimble footprint, post-pandemic, and the old model of having a great big office, with just a few lawyers doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
