Staff



Amy Hirotaka, Executive Director

As WACDL’s chief staff executive, Amy is responsible for working with the board to set and implement association goals, fiscal management, CLE and other program development, designing and developing member services, hiring and supervising staff and contractors, and overall management of the association.

She serves as staff for WACDL’s Board of Governors; for the Annual Conference, CLE, Corrections, and Legislative committees; and for the Sealing & Vacation Task Force. She serves as staff for the Holiday Party and Email Lists Oversight committees. In addition, she serves as editor of Washington Criminal Defense magazine. 

Amy worked as WACDL's program coordinator between January of 2006 and August of 2008. Since then, she attended graduate school and earned a master’s degree in public administration. Her work since graduate school has involved lobbying, policy analysis, community outreach and engagement, and event planning. She has served on the board of the Asian Pacific Islander Community Leadership Foundation and been chair of the City of Seattle Community Technology Advisory Board.

Camille Winslow, Program Assistant

Camille began working at WACDL as a Program Assistant in October of 2021. She is responsible for carrying out general administrative tasks and assists Amy with the production of all WACDL programs. Camille has over 5 years of experience working in administrative assistant roles. 

Myranda Buiquy, Intern

Myranda is a 2L at Seattle University where she also went for her undergrad years and majored in Business Administration. Myranda keeps our Brady list and legal document library up-to-date. She also maintains a list of our amicus briefs and works on special projects. She is very excited to be at WACDL to work with criminal defense lawyers and learn more about the vast legal field.
